In a year of change, Washington showed what it means to Go BIG.
Our teams faced new challenges in the Big Ten and rose spectacularly to meet them. Already this fall, our Women’s Soccer team won the Big Ten Conference regular season championship, and our other fall sports are also in contention for championships.
Our department’s cumulative GPA now stands at an impressive 3.48. Across coast-to-coast travel and demanding schedules, our student-athletes continue to define academic excellence — with more than 230 Huskies earning Dean’s List honors and 26 achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA last spring.
Their successes also shine through individual achievement. Recently, Football’s Jonah Coleman was named a finalist for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy, widely known as the “Academic Heisman.” With a 3.93 GPA in Education Studies: Sports and Education — a degree he will complete this December — Jonah is one of just 16 national finalists and one of only two representatives from the Big Ten Conference.
These milestones are possible because of you. Through your generosity, Husky Nation raised an incredible $73 million last year through Go BIG! for Washington — the largest single-year fundraising total in our department’s history.
Your continued support as a Tyee Club member remains essential as we navigate this new era of college athletics.
With the recent approval of the NCAA settlement, UW Athletics will provide the maximum allowable revenue share to student-athletes — funded entirely through conference distributions, sponsorships, and ticket sales. At the same time, we remain committed to investing in the Husky experience.
Our student-athletes give everything they have — their time, energy, and hearts — to represent Washington with excellence. It’s our shared responsibility to ensure they have the facilities, technology, and support systems that match their ambitions.
When you give to The Go BIG! Fund, you’re fueling that mission — advancing scholarships, sports science, data analytics, and facility enhancements that keep the Huskies at the forefront of college athletics.
Thank you for your unwavering support, for believing in our student-athletes, and for helping them Go BIG every day. Go Dawgs!
