Bob Rondeau


‣ First joined the UW football radio crew for the 1978 season, handling color commentary for the first two years before taking over as the play-by-play announcer in 1980
‣ Since then has spent all but three seasons in that role for football and has been the voice of Husky basketball since 1985

‣ Has worked as a TV and radio sports anchor for KOMO-TV and KOMO Radio in Seattle and at stations in Colorado and Arizona before that
‣ Served as play-by-play voice of the NASL Seattle Sounders in the 1970s
‣ Has called horse racing from Longacres and Emerald Downs for TV and radio
