Bob Rondeau
About
- First joined the UW football radio crew for the 1978 season, handling color commentary for the first two years before taking over as the play-by-play announcer in 1980.
- Since then has spent all but three seasons in that role for football and has been the voice of Husky basketball since 1985.

- 2013 winner of the Seattle Sports Council’s Keith Jackson Award
- 10-time winner of the National Sports Media Association (NSMA, formerly NSSA) Washington State Sports Broadcaster of the Year (1981, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1998, 2010, 2011, 2012)
- Named the Colorado Broadcast Newsman of the Year by the Associated Press in 1973
Other accomplishments
- Has worked as a TV and radio sports anchor for KOMO-TV and KOMO Radio in Seattle and at stations in Colorado and Arizona before that.
- Served as play-by-play voice of the NASL Seattle Sounders in the 1970s.
- Has called horse racing from Longacres and Emerald Downs for TV and radio.
