Athletic Director's Letter

Together, we build champions, on and off the field.

In the determination to face every challenge, in the exhilaration of every victory, you stand with Husky student-athletes.

Dear donors,

This publication is all about you.

Sure, we’ve included great stories about inspiring student-athletes, dedicated coaches and winning teams. But the fact is, none of their stories would be possible without you. In this, a report to show Tyee Club members the impact of their donations, we share with you our gratitude.

We are grateful that student-athletes in every sport benefit from your support. From women’s golf with eight athletes to Husky football with 100, every team has an equal opportunity to succeed because you care enough to donate to UW Athletics. We’re also grateful that your investment yields winning results, year after year. In 2014-15 alone, 17 of our 22 teams qualified for post-season play.

The bottom line? Your generosity is measured in the lives of student-athletes. You give them the opportunity to play sports they love, to build relationships that will last a lifetime and to earn a world-class University of Washington education. For that, we can’t say thank you enough.

As the landscape of intercollegiate athletics changes, we are always seeking new opportunities to support student-athletes and enhance their collegiate experiences. Your gifts mean so much today, and will continue to shape a bright tomorrow. Once again, thank you.

Go Huskies!

Scott Woodward
Director of Athletics

You’re a Tyee Club member because…

You are one of the more than 6,000 season ticket holders who make a seat-related gift. Donations tied to season tickets not only provide essential support for student-athletes and Husky teams, they enable you to earn priority points and improve your experience as a fan. In fact, every donation you make to Husky Athletics, seat-related and other, boosts your priority position.

You contribute at least $100 a year to the We Are Washington Scholarship Fund, earning you your own Dawg Tag and helping student-athletes earn a college education.

You make a one-time or sustaining gift to help a specific team, to pay a pledge on capital projects or facility enhancements, or to support Husky Athletics’ most pressing needs.

You establish an endowment to support a perpetual source of scholarship funds to give student-athletes a stellar UW education.

You let us know that you’ve remembered Husky Athletics in your will with a legacy gift to Forever Washington.
