Donors and Difference-Makers

Wow, thanks!

Husky Giving DayHusky Giving Day boosted funding to support student-athletes by more than $900,000 from 1,600 donors, leading the University in both dollars and donors. The UW as a whole raised $2.4 million from more than 5,400 donors. Thank you, Tyee Club members! Your generosity to Washington Athletics means the world to us.

The Husky Marching Band topped all schools and programs with 451 gifts compared to Softball’s 229 and Rowing’s 138. Rowing raised the most money with $88,000.

“We especially appreciate your generosity at a time when intercollegiate athletics are evolving to ensure that every student-athlete receives the essentials they need to compete, learn and grow,” says Shannon Kelly, Associate Athletic Director for Advancement. “Your gift is a vital investment in the lives of future leaders, in the competitiveness of every team and in the storied legacy of Washington Athletics.”

Again, thank you so much for shaping the future of Washington student-athletes on Husky Giving Day. Generous Tyee Club members like you are the most important members of our team.
