The Husky Hall of Fame’s newest inductees represent the deep history of Washington Athletics along with some of the greatest names of its recent history. Honorees include:

The class features two of Washington Football’s most beloved quarterbacks, two of the most outstanding tennis players in school history, a hard-working and highly successful basketball star, one of the UW softball program’s greatest sluggers, and the first Men’s Soccer player ever to be inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame.

“The Five Who Dared” were four Washington football players and one assistant coach who, amid the social turbulence of the 1960s, stepped up quietly and forcefully to use their voices and their platforms as student-athletes to protest racial injustice.

The 2021 class was recognized at this year’s homecoming game, Oct. 16 vs. UCLA, with official ceremonies on Oct. 17.
